What Is LUMBROKINASE?
Lumbrokinase is a group of fibrinolytic enzymes extracted from earthworms (particularly Lumbricus rubellus and Eisenia fetida) that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. It works primarily by breaking down fibrin and preventing blood clot formation through direct fibrinolytic activity, independent of plasminogen.
