What Is GARLIC EXTRACT?
Garlic extract is a concentrated supplement derived from garlic (Allium sativum) that contains bioactive compounds including allicin, S-allyl cysteine (SAC), and other organosulfur compounds. It works primarily through enhancing nitric oxide production, improving endothelial function, and providing antioxidant effects. Aged garlic extract (AGE) is commonly used for cardiovascular health, particularly for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, as well as supporting immune function.
