What Is BRIVARACETAM?
Brivaracetam (BRV) is a high-affinity ligand for the synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A), an analog of levetiracetam designed for more selective and potent binding. It is primarily used as an anticonvulsant medication to treat focal-onset seizures by reducing hypersynchronous neuronal activity in the brain.
